Recife is the capital Pernambuco, Brazil. It built on a series of islands connected by bridges, in a wide estuary. The city is spread out ans has easy access to many beaches.
the region of Boa Viagem and Pina Beach, sheltered by reefs, welcoms surfers and swimmers. As a painter, observing the sea breeze in winter, I see the clouds constantly blowing from east to west horizon, constantly changing the colour pf the sky and sea, early morning sunny and blue, then grey purple clouds after lunch, with a rougher green sea, deep purple patches of seaweed, turning into a late afternoon light mist off the coast with sunlight reflecting on the sea beyond.
