Description
Robert Johnson's Blues is a drawing of the legend around Robert Johnson's guitar talent. From the top down, the large face with cigarette is Johnson himself, the smaller figure with guitar is the travelling minstrel, striding over hills, below the figure are the crossroads where he reputedly sold his soul to the devil in exchange for talent. Towards the foreground are a pack of dogs, hell hounds, on his trail. The graveyard is where he practised at night with his teacher, Ike Zimmerman. All elements feature in some form in his songs and music.
