Description
Stormy Halloween shows a wild sea, cliffs, with a ruined church beside a graveyard at the top of the cliffs, circled by ravens. It is based on memories of a Norman village at Bannow Bay, Wexford, Ireland. Decimated by the black plague, all that is left is the ruined Saint Mary's church and graveyard. Local legend says that the village was swept to the sea and is now below the cliffs, where the village bells can be heard on a stormy night.

Wow, what an amazing artwork! So much energy! Love this!
James McCormack replied:
Thanks Lori, some people see a lot of negative energy in Halloween, I think there some very positive energies in it too, trying to get that across.

What an interesting story behind your wonderful drawing.
James McCormack replied:
Thanks Lois, spent lots of summers there, good beaches. Also where the Normans initially invaded Ireland.
