Description
Swamp Ghost Crab or Atlantic Ghost Crab, (Ucides cordatus), common on Americas Atlantic coasts.
I saw them initially in the Brazilian "Manguezal" or mangrove in Pernambuco, along with hundreds of tiny sand crabs that make up a huge coastal ecosystem.

He may look cute but he's a man's fist size or bigger! The cute ones are the tiny transparent ones like spiders, (size of little finger nail), you can hardly see them but you see the movement ahead of the vibrations of your footsteps
