Description
Viaduto Santa Ifigenia dates from 1913 and links the central square in front of St. Benedicts monastery to the church of Santa Ifigenia, in Sao Paulo city, Brazil, crossing a valley at over 50 meters below. It links the old and new town centres. Done in an art nouveau style, in the eighties it was refurbished and converted to pedestrians only. It provides a good view of the municipal theatre from above.

Thanks Mary. Hot sun, downtown historical buildings plus art noyveau, 200th meeting of Urban Sketchers, Sao Paulo, (catching up on old friends), I guess it really brightened my palette.
